About Us

Welcome to Skate Gillam! We operate out of the Gillam Recreation Centre located at 235 Mattonabee Avenue in Gillam Manitoba.

We are a not-for-profit Skate Canada sanctioned Club with our operations made possible thanks to our dedicated volunteers, who work with a professional skating coach.

MISSION STATEMENT:

The Skate Gillam Club of Gillam is for skaters and parents and is about them, to provide quality organized skating programs, coaches and instructors to all members of out community, enabling them to participate in a team setting for fun, fitness, pleasure and personal achievement.

OUR VISION:

Our Vision, our focus is to become a recognized organization which creates skating programs and learning opportunities for its' skater, coaches and instructional staff in that they may attempt to reach their maximum potential in skating, or instruction.

GOALS:

To offer Skate Canada standard programming which reflects the needs of the skating community in Gillam.
To maintain a safe and positive environment in which skating and learning may take place.
To encourage parental involvement in all areas of the Skate Gillam Club of Gillam.
